1 Inspection
Run machine in current state to check for any problems
Initial clean of the machine
Check all fans are working correctly
Check X, Y & Z motors
Remove all coversExamine X and Y Guides
Check probe electronics are working correctly
2 Refurbishment
Remove belts from pulleys
Check slides and guides for signs of wear – Replace as necessary
Check pulleys for signs of wear – Replace as necessary
Remove Probe Arms
Remove X pulleys and Motor spindles
Replace X guides
Examine Y guides – replace as necessary
Refurbish each arm
Comprehensive cleaning phase
3 Rebuilding 
Mount new X guides
Mount pulleys
Change all Y axis bearingsCheck Z pulleys
Change Z axis springsRemount all Axis
Replace all belts and Z axis wires Adjust belt tension
Check mechanical alignment
Check frame for squareness – adjust as necessary
Clean covers and check Emergency Stop wiring
4 Calibration 
Perform mechanical calibration
Perform electrical calibration
Change Probe tips
Adjust probe contact pressure
5 Testing
Loop Test – Two to three days
Benchmark board testing
Additional functional tests
6 Final Inspection
Re-check all fixings for tightness
Replace covers
Final cleaning and quality checks
Prepare machine for shipping
7 Summary Total time for refurbishment 50 hours
All mechanical parts are included in the price.
Electronic parts like main board or motor boards will be invoiced additionally if they are required.
